Cloud Solutions Architect

- Design and architect cloud-native solutions on AWS, Azure, and GCP platforms
- Lead cloud migration projects and modernization initiatives
- Define infrastructure-as-code standards and implement automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools
- Ensure security, compliance, and best practices across all cloud environments
- Optimize cloud costs while maintaining performance and reliability
- Design disaster recovery and business continuity strategies
- Collaborate with engineering teams to support application deployment and scaling
- Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies and services
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to infrastructure engineers
- Document architecture decisions, patterns, and runbooks
What we're looking for
Essential
- 7+ years of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, or cloud architecture
- Strong expertise in at least two major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Professional cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or GCP Professional Cloud Architect)
- Deep understanding of cloud networking, security, and identity management
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation)
- Proficiency in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Nice to have
- Multiple professional cloud certifications across different platforms
- Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd)
- Knowledge of observability platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)
- Experience with GitOps practices and tools (ArgoCD, Flux)
- Understanding of FinOps and cloud cost optimization strategies
- Experience with serverless architectures and event-driven design
- Background in security and compliance (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR)
- Experience in highly regulated industries (finance, healthcare)
