Prompt Engineer

- Design and optimize prompts for various LLM applications across our product suite
- Conduct systematic testing and evaluation of prompt performance and model responses
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate AI capabilities into products
- Develop prompt templates and best practices documentation for the team
- Analyze model behavior and iterate on prompts to improve accuracy and relevance
- Stay current with latest developments in LLMs and prompt engineering techniques
- Build tools and frameworks to streamline prompt development and testing
- Work on fine-tuning strategies and few-shot learning approaches
What we're looking for
Essential
- 2+ years of experience working with LLMs (GPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar)
- Strong understanding of prompt engineering principles and techniques
- Excellent writing and communication skills with attention to detail
- Experience with API integration and basic programming (Python preferred)
- Analytical mindset with ability to measure and improve prompt performance
- Understanding of AI safety, bias mitigation, and ethical AI practices
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, English, or related field
Nice to have
- Experience with prompt frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar
- Knowledge of NLP concepts and techniques
- Background in computational linguistics or cognitive science
- Experience with RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) systems
- Familiarity with model fine-tuning and evaluation metrics
- Understanding of transformer architectures and attention mechanisms
- Experience building conversational AI or chatbot systems
- Portfolio of successful prompt engineering projects
